Digi-Comp1
Brought home to me by my father in 1968, the Digicomp was my first "computer". Essentially a mechanical 3-bit binary calculator. Putting it together was simple and fun. I had it up and running in a few minutes and learned what binary numbers are — at least I could count up to 7. 1968 is the same year that Intel was founded; the company that would in 1971 invent and sell the first commercially produced microprocessor.
